Wokingham Waterside Centre

Wokingham Waterside Centre is a unique riverside, water sports and conference venue set on a picturesque stretch of the river Thames in Berkshire.

All of our 2021 sessions and courses are now available to book through the ‘Book Online’ tab or ‘Book now’ buttons. We aim to run these sessions however they must meet the government guidelines around Covid-19 at the time of the session. This may mean that some sessions have to be postponed, if you have booked a session that can not take place due to Covid-19 or river levels we will move your booking or credit your account free of charge.

If you have any questions please contact us by phone or email before booking, we look forward to paddling with you soon.

About Us

The Centre was inspired 10 years prior to its opening in 2001 by John Cooper, a committed scout. There were no facilities for canoeists at that point – indeed the whole stretch was merely scrub land.
